Lion's Valley Park Investigation

This investigation truly revealed some energy. Though there wasn't huge amounts of evidence that there was in fact paranormal activity, there were moments when one would truly feel energy. Our investigation was cut short due to rain, we lasted roughly about 2 hours. A brief history of Lion's Valley Park dates back to the 1800's when the valley itself thrieved with 5 saw mills along 16 Mile Creek. There was also a town that at one time reach roughly about 500 people in total population. By the 1880's there was only 2 families left in the area. But if one was to go into the valley park today, one would wonder were any of this evidence of this past was. Sadly, there is very little left from the period with the exception of a small chunk of stone wall from a mill. The valley is surrounded with three cemeteries of which at one point had serious erosion causing coffins to hang out over the hillside over looking the valley. In fact there was even caskets found floating down the creek. For more on Lion's Valley Park history.

In the meantime here are some pictures taken during our brief investigation, some of which revealed very interesting imagery. At one point I had taken a picture of what seemingly looks like the anomaly of a small boy. When the area was checked with an EMF detector, it spiked showing some energy. I have video footage from the area as well that hopefully will reveal further aspects of this hotspot in the park.

More Pics from the German Mill Investigation

Here are some pictures of interest, though not all our paranormal in nature, they do pose questions about the energy in and around the mill itself. More investigating is surely to come.

German Mill Finds and Overlook.

We after spending roughly 2 hours on site, I myself felt nothing but peaceful energy. Though there was one corner inside the mill that did give me some other energy. Still, there was no concrete evidence that the mill was in fact inhabitated by anything paranormal. Though we did secure the EVP from inside the mill during the original scouting, there was none captured during our night investigation. I would like to have the group spend another time out there doing a more indepth investigation as I still hold hope that there may in fact be something there. In the meantime here are some interesting pictures taken on site by myself and Rob.

Equipment used during the investigation were a Sony Night Shot Digital Hi-8 Camcorder, 2 EMF meters, three digital audio recorders, an infrared flashlight as well as regular flashlights.

New EVP secured from German Mill Ruins!

Southern Ontario Paranormal Society group member Rob sent me in an EVP he managed to secure from our scouting trip to the German Mill ruins a couple of weeks ago. Much thanks goes out to Haunted Voices Todd Bates for cleaning the file up. What he managed to make of the voice is that it is in fact spiritual, and that it seems to be saying "We're Buried Here", now that is what both Rob and I make it out to be saying as well. Of course have a listen and let us know your thoughts, remember turn the volume right up to get the best results!
